About

I am a PhD student at CEA-Leti (Université Grenoble Alpes) and LIX (École polytechnique, Institut Polytechnique de Paris). Before the PhD, I studied applied mathematics at Grenoble INP-Ensimag, then completed a master’s degree in cybersecurity run jointly by Ensimag and Université Grenoble Alpes.

Research

My thesis evaluates post-quantum cryptographic implementations against advanced hardware attacks. The work centers on soft-analytical side-channel attacks (SASCA), which combine power or electromagnetic measurements with belief propagation on a model of the targeted computation to recover secrets.

I apply these attacks to post-quantum schemes on FPGA and microcontrollers, with two main targets: the Reed-Muller decoder of HQC, where the Fast Hadamard Transform leaks information about the shared secret, and the SHA-2/HMAC primitives used for key derivation in many post-quantum protocols. Part of the work also covers countermeasures, including an analysis of redundant number representations as a way to limit these attacks on HQC.
